We had our wedding celebration at Dorchester Brewing in September and couldn’t be happier with how it went.

Space: The upstairs Hopservatory was beautiful and works so well as an event space. There was room for dining, dancing, guests could go outdoors, there is a private bathroom, and the space itself is really lovely. The kids were excited about the game room downstairs and spent a ton of time between the upstairs, downstairs, and out on the roof deck. The brewery provides access to the sound system and provides a mic, so we were all set for speeches and music.

Food and Drink: Our guests loved M&M BBQ, and I am still getting comments about how good the food was.

Bar and Service: We couldn’t have been happier with our bartenders, Brandon and Joy, who were friendly and super attentive. Joy, the event coordinator, went above and beyond setting up 240(!!) mini cupcakes when our cupcakes were delivered at the wrong time.

Overall: We were so thrilled with our event and would recommend Dorchester Brewing to anyone considering having their wedding there.

I recently had my husband’s 40th birthday at Dorchester Brewing. It was a great time! I have planned many big events throughout my life for both personal and professional reasons, and I can say that this staff was one of the most responsive and easiest to work with! Joy was my onsite contact for the night and she was SO incredibly sweet and helpful, getting me all of the things I needed. Steve also kept an eye on my tab for me throughout the night and so approachable and nice, getting me beers to take home for the night and answering my questions. John was a super friendly bartender as well!

My guests really loved the space–it’s a really cool, big space, with multiple event spaces, and the Museum of Bad Art is such a fun addition. I would not hesitate to recommend it for your event in the future!

I wanted to reach out and say THANK YOU for allowing us to have our event at your establishment yesterday. There was not one issue the whole day, the venue was amazing, people loved it and the two bartenders were on point the entire afternoon. With the parking being so easy and access so amenable, maybe we can pencil in May for next year :). I will surely be back soon for a pint and some BBQ. So Grateful.

We recently had our son and daughter in law’s elopement party there. We had the whole second floor and patio for the party. The food(BBQ) was excellent with lots of choices(vegan, gluten free) for everyone. The beer choices were a hit! There was a space for the dessert that we provided. The staff was very polite and efficient. The views of the Boston skyline at sunset really added to the ambiance of the event. I highly recommend DBC for your next casual event.

We had our work holiday party at Dorchester Brewing in the upstairs Hopservatory a few weeks ago! Planning an event here was so easy and fun! Everyone had a great time!!! Food and drink was amazing and everyone was so kind and helpful! Would recommend for any event!!!

We hosted our wedding welcome party in the Hopservatory space, and it was amazing! We are locals to the brewery and really enjoyed showing off how cool this space is and how great the drinks and food are! We easily accommodated a large group, and had an easy time planning the catering with M&M BBQ. The beers, food, and fun cocktails were all a hit, as was the awesome space! The staff is always helpful, friendly, and fun, but they really went all out and made the night even more special! Highly recommend and will be looking for another excuse to host a party here in the future!
