Brews, Bikes & Burgers

Join us for our first Brews, Bikes & Burgers event of the summer! This season, we’re kicking it off on the patio with local Dorchester bike shop, Ashmont Cycles and Boston’s Baddest Burgers! Grab a burger from the food truck, a beer from the brewery and Jack from Ashmont Cycles will show you how to fix a flat tire on the go and review basic bike care information. Feel free to bring a wheel from your bike to practice on!

Here’s the schedule:

7pm: Tire and Bike Care Presentation from Ashmont Cycles

Dorchester Day Party

If you’re not from DOT, you might not know that the first Sunday in June is officially Dorchester Day! Come check out our float in the local parade and then join us afterwards at the brewery to continue the celebration to honor the establishment of Dorchester as a town of Boston and our history! So, we’re raising our glasses all day at the brewery with an ode to Dorchester!

So, we’re going old school on this one! With the purchase of any flight throughout the day on Friday, April 14th, you get a special snack to enjoy. We’re digging deep and offering up snacks like Twinkies, Devil Dogs, Zebras, Pringles, Nutty Buddy’s, Coffee Cakes, Cupcakes and more! #fatkidfriday

Fall Fest

Join us on Saturday, November 17th for a fun-filled day of Fall Festivities! We’ll have live music, donuts, pretzels BBQ and a special fall beer release of our new Sour Grapes beer made with locally sourced grapes and a DJ to end the night. Celebrate the season of fall before we head into the Winter months and start our Boston hibernation.

In the spirit of the holidays, the “Friends of the Red Cross” will be onsite from 1-3pm collecting men and women’s adult size gloves, hats, and jackets (new with tag) to be donated to the Red Cross Service to the Armed Forces, which offers a range of services to members of the Armed Forces and their families.  Donations of cash or gift cards will also be accepted in support of Service to the Armed Forces. The Friends of the Red Cross is a group of young professionals committed to furthering the mission of the American Red Cross, which is to prevent and alleviate human suffering.With any donation, you will be entered in to win a Dorchester Brewing Company gift card and swag!!!

Fall Fest Lineup:

ALL DAY: Sour Grapes Beer Release: Our Kettle Soured wheat beer with locally grown Concord grapes added. Grape jelly aroma leads to a light body with a tart kick and a touch of sweetness from the addition of Concord grapes sourced from Autumn Hill Orchards, Groton, MA. A refreshing autumnal quencher! ABV: 5.0%

12pm: Donuts from DJ’s European Market & Deli

1pm-3pm: Donations to The Red Cross Service to the Armed Forces (SAF)

2pm-4:30pm: Live Music from These Wild Plains

2pm-7pm: Soft Pretzels from Fat Boyfriend Bakery

7-10:30pm: DJ Dialogues spinning beats

 

Shuck Food Truck Pop Up

Oysters, lobsters, shrimp, clam chowda…oh my! Join us for an evening of seafood and beer from the amazing Shuck Food Truck! They bring you the very best in New England seafood – so fresh it comes directly to you! This is going to be a good day.

The tentative menu will include (subject to change): PO Boys, Oysters on the half shell, Smoked Haddock Chowder, Lobster Grilled Cheese, Lobster Roll, and of course Fries!

National Beer Day

On April 7, 1933, President Franklin Roosevelt took the first step toward ending Prohibition and signed a law that allowed people to brew and sell beer, in the United States, as long as it remained below 4.0% alcohol by volume (ABV).  Beer drinkers celebrated and were happy to be able to purchase beer again for the first time in thirteen years.

Come celebrate with us and raise a glass of nice, fresh beer. Boston’s Baddest Burger will be here from 5pm-9pm, so you can grab some grab some grub to wash it down!
