Stillwater Artisanal Ales Beer Release

Started in 2010, Stillwater Artisanal is the brainchild of Baltimore native Brian Strumke, whose past life as an internationally renowned electronica DJ and producer strangely led him down a path to crafting some of the world’s most unique and highest rated beers. Lucky for you guys, we are brewing a few of his amazing beers here at Dorchester Brewing and we’re throwing a beer release party on Thursday, July 13th so you can try them fresh from the source!

Brainiacs & Brews with WGBH

Join WGBH at Dorchester Brewing Co. for a night of brainy challenges over craft beer! It’s free to play, but registration is required.

How it works

Spend the evening with fellow brainiacs solving a variety of brainteasers, puzzles and challenges as you move through the bar. Be prepared to move around! Challenges are scattered throughout the bar. Each correctly solved challenge wins you points. The individuals or teams with the most points will compete in a head-to-head, puzzle-solving showdown for the title of “Brainiac of the Brewery!” The winners will receive a WGBH prize pack.

Teams can be no more than four people.

This is not a seated event.

Must be 21 or older to attend with a valid ID.

National Beer Day

On April 7, 1933, President Franklin Roosevelt took the first step toward ending Prohibition and signed a law that allowed people to brew and sell beer, in the United States, as long as it remained below 4.0% alcohol by volume (ABV).  Beer drinkers celebrated and were happy to be able to purchase beer again for the first time in thirteen years.

Come celebrate with us and raise a glass of nice, fresh beer. Boston’s Baddest Burger will be here from 5pm-9pm, so you can grab some grab some grub to wash it down!
